Shepherd Border Patrol
While reading this section closely, my mind drove me back to a movie I had watched several years ago. The film is Shepherd Border Patrol. It was a film where the main actor, Jean Claude Van Damme, was trying to revenge on some drug dealers after his daughter died after a drug overdose. This film would expound how drug dealers operate and how they were tightly working with authorities. The film and this section describe the marks that are left behind by overdose of cocaine or heroin
Secondly, I would like to respond to the issue where in the past, the older population was using heroin more than the youth. The book states that the latter has changed in modern days. Many teenagers are dying of drug abuse. The society is supposed to reconsider and try to solve this menace. It is a problem that is brought by poverty, peer pressure, and poor parenting styles. Social groups and the government are supposed to devise ways of saving the future. This reading has explicitly shown how the drugs get in our nation and how they are distributed.
